Aging and other health issues can cause our bodies to stop producing hormones at appropriate levels. Bioidentical Hormone Replacement Therapy is a method of replacing those hormones with hormones that are the exact chemical structure as the hormones that your body once produced.

Estrogen, DHEAS, Cortisol, Testosterone, Progesterone, Melatoinand key metabolites of these hormones.

What costs are involved with BHRT?

You will take a lab test before beginning any medication. Insurance typically covers this test with a minimal copay. If you have no insurance the cost of the test is $275. The average cost of prescriptions for BHRT ranges from $35 - $85 per month, depending on what medications you need. We will attempt to bill your insurance for these medications, but many times they are not covered.

How do I get my hormones tested?

The first thing you will need to do is obtain a prescription from your provider for "Hormone Testing" and bring it to us. If you do not have a provider, we can help guide you to one. We will provide you with the appropriate test (urine or saliva) and go over it with you in the pharmacy. You will complete the test at home.

How long does it take for my results to come back?

Typically results are back to us in 2-3 weeks.

Can you mail my prescriptions to me?

Yes, If you live in Alabama, Ohio, Indiana, Illinois, or Wisconsin, we can mail your prescriptions to you. There is typically a $7 shipping charge (subject to change) depending on what is being mailed and where it is being mailed to.

What next?

Once we receive your results, our qualified pharmacists will review them and make recommendations for treatment. In order to fill any prescriptions, we must have approval from your provider and they can either sign off on them or make changes. Once approved we can make your medications specifically for you.
